Candle Care

Let the wax pool reach the edges
During the first burn, allow the melt pool to cover the full surface. This prevents tunneling and helps the candle last longer.

Burn in shorter sessions
Limit each burn to two or three hours. This protects the container and keeps the fragrance balanced.

Keep the surface clean
Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the wax before lighting. Noticing wax discoloration may not indicate an unclean surface. Some scent oils, such as vanilla, tend to cause tanning or browning of the wax. However, dust and fine particles can cause your candle wax to react in various visual ways. This does not affect the product quality.

Place on a stable surface
Set the candle on a heat-safe, even surface. Please keep it away from drafts, curtains, or loose items.

Stop when one-half inch of wax remains
This protects the container from overheating.

WOOD WICKS:

Trim the wick
Keep the wood wick at one-eighth to one-quarter inch. A short wick helps the flame stay steady and prevents soot.

Let the wax melt to the edges
During the first burn, allow the melt pool to reach the sides. This supports clean, even burns.

Light the wick along the top edge
Hold the flame across the full width of the wick. This helps the wick catch and stay lit.

Extinguish with care
Use a snuffer to avoid smoke.

Break off charred bits
Before each burn, snap off loose char or use a wick trimmer. Please don't let debris fall into the wax.

Handcrafted Cement Vessel Care

Avoid soaking
Do not place the vessel in water. Do not run it through a dishwasher.

Clean with a soft cloth
Use a dry or slightly damp cloth for routine cleaning. Avoid harsh cleaners or scrub pads.

Protect the surface
Place the candle on a stable, heat-safe surface. We add felt protective bottoms or bumper tabs to protect surfaces. However, if these are removed or come off, add a coaster for the vessel to sit on. Cement can scratch delicate surfaces.

Watch for fun natural variations
Cement may show small pores or slight color shifts. These features are standard and bring character to each vessel.

Stop use at one-half inch of wax
End the burn when one-half inch of wax remains. This protects the vessel from heat stress.

Handle with care
Cement can chip or break if dropped or mistreated.

Thank you

Created with love

Our handcrafted cement vessels become a work of art for candles, succulents, or statement pieces.

Hours of detail and process go into each of our handpoured cement vessels. No two vessels will ever be the same, taking on an earthy appearance and natural flow, making them one of a kind.

After a lengthy curing process of several days, the inside walls and rims of every candle vessel are sealed with a premium, environmentally safe sealer, ensuring a clean, safe candle experience. Most vessels are finished with a high-quality, environmentally safe matte, satin, or gloss varnish. You can request a no-varnish finish.

When your candle is finished, we will gladly refill your candle vessel with a scent of your choice and replace the wood wicks, or use cotton wicks at your request.

Vessels can be purchased without candles.
